Starting with a single piece of laser-cut and precision formed ⅜” American steel, ¼" and 7 gauge brackets are then added to create a welded assembly that serves as the robust foundation of the BFJ. But the beefiness doesn't stop there. A 2" machined slab of UHMW provides full 360˚ exterior protection and all of the interior surfaces are lined in ¼” HDPE. The knurling on your bar and the coating of your rack will stay protected and looking pretty no matter how hard you chase those gainz!

It took four months from the time I placed my order until the product finally arrived, so the wait was quite long—but it was definitely worth it. The product is beautifully made, with excellent finishing and attention to detail.
What I especially liked is that even with added weight, the hook stops securely at the tip. The gold-colored bolt is also nicely rounded and doesn’t stick out, so there’s little risk of it catching or causing injury.
That said, there were a couple of points I noticed.
There was a gouged scratch, approximately 1mm wide and 3cm long, on the lower part of the hook. It’s not in a very visible spot, so it’s not a major issue, but still worth mentioning.
Compared to the Ghost roller J-hooks I’ve used before—which fit tightly on the rack—these BRIDGE hooks have a clearance of about 2 to 3mm, which allows them to move slightly from side to side. I assume this was an intentional design choice to ensure compatibility with various racks, but personally, I found it a bit distracting. Since I use these in a home gym and don’t plan on removing them often, I’d prefer a snugger fit. I’m considering adding shims to reduce the play.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with the product, but I do hope this aspect is improved in future versions.
These are excellent! Worth the wait. I have very limited space in my home gym, these are so useful in loading plates and centering the bar for lifts. Also love that they are big and over built. Tons of protection as well for the bar. Love the purchase.

Nearly perfect... Amazing quality, beautiful product, second to none in craftsmanship, and a high level of attention to detail.
I would fix one essential thing. They have a lot of "slop" when fitted on a REP Fitness rack. They still have a significant amount of slop on a Rogue rack. They do not fit snug unless you shim them with UHMW tape. I had to use 4 strips on the backside and 5 strips on the front side to make them snug... not tight so they would work as described for powerlifting.
Gamechanger. These things are freakin awesome, super smooth rolling side to side and when centered you can roll the bar forward so it doesnt move. These are built to last, again I am impressed with the fabrication that Bridge Built does.
The j-cups are amazing! They are the best I’ve ever used. The shipping took a lot longer than expected. At least customer service was quick with responses about my order. However, 4 months was a long time to receive a tracking number. Next time I’ll temper my expectations.

I would love to see some sort of spacing plate offered to account for metric racks as there is quite a bit of play on with them on my REP rack.
Really nice well built piece of equipment. Only thing negative is I wish the front lip was higher. Sliding the bar forward off the rollers takes quite a bit of force. Feels like if you’re not careful you might overshoot the front lip dropping the bar on yourself when not ready. Should offer a option to upgrade to taller front lip and / or reduce the amount of force required to move bar forward off the rollers.
Well worth the wait! These are exceptional J-cups, very heavy duty but also well-crafted, even artisanal in the level of detail given to the metal. I appreciate the mechanism to essentially "prime" the bar by rolling it off the composite rollers once you have the right position--far better than the cone shaped ones that automatically return the bar. I've been slamming heavy weights back into these things and they don't even have a scratch. Only suggestion would be to make them a little taller: sometimes the bar overshoots the plastic backings when trying to rack it and hits my rack instead.
Disappointed with the size of the hole for the locking pin. It doesn’t have to munch sense at least for me to have a smaller hole than the rack because is gonna have some slackness any way so I won’t use that and I don’t think I’ll need it so far
Great customer service. Live abroad and wanted to pick up while on vacation in the US. Customer service made sure the package waiting for me at my destination. Very happy with the product / build quality.
Although they took a little bit to get to me and I did have to add a few layers of UMHW in order to make it fit my Rep rack, they were worth the weight. being able to both move the barbell and then lock it into place has made things much easier.
It came today, cant believe what a wonderful product you guys built. Its literally insane and nothing like it on the planet! In commercial gym they had racks with metal no protective plastic so bar easily was adjusted but also all bars lost their knurling. Home gyms all have protection of expensive barbells but you cant slide the bar a millimeter and constantly have to lift with bar off center. Its annoyed the hell out of me every single time and I know one day this will hurt me.
You solved this problem, looks like ART, performs like a one of a kind $20 million Ferarri and will make lifting a joy and came same week. Insane customer support as well. I figure it didnt cost me anything because I was going to get hurt and the medical costs would greatly exceed the price of your wonderful product!
The combo roller j-hooks are worth every single penny! Its an absolute pleasure to use them for all of my barbell lifts. They fit my power rack so snug that I dont even bother with the hitch pins. I actually look forward to heavy squats and presses knowing that centering and stabilizing the bar will be a breeze. Not only are these j-hooks a fantastic product that truly overdelivers, but the same can be said about BBs customer service. I emailed the company with a product question on a Sunday afternoon, and I got a response within an hour - on a SUNDAY!! Cant say it enough - I am thoroughly happy with my purchase.
These are the greatest J hooks I have EVER owned. Been a home gym owner for over a decade, the BFJs are one the best pieces of equipment I own. I didnt realize how much the omni direction would add to my training - WOW! These are worth the price and Im questioning why I didnt get them sooner.
Ever since I first saw the teaser on social media for these j cups I wanted a pair. I received them a few weeks ago and so far have had several sessions with them and have had different types of bars on them.
First off theyre beefy. I absolutely love the design and functionally they work as they should. The quality and craftsmanship are top notch IMO and by far my favorite pair of J cups I own. I opted for the all black look which works for my gym aesthetic. I definitely recommend anyone in the market to consider purchasing these j cups for their gym. You wont be disappointed at all with their performance.
The BFJs are the best J-Cup around for nearly every barbell type. They work with SSBs, Axle bars, multi grip bars and even barbells! Are they expensive? Yea! BUT youre getting the last set of J Cups youll ever purchase
Ordered my Phoenix power rack a few months back and this was by far my favorite item. To say that they look absolutely incredible is an understatement and they are without a doubt ABSOLUTELY BEEFY. And with the ability to roll and adjust the bar at any time is just the absolute cherry on top.

Ive never used rollers before so I wasnt sure what to
expect.
These bad boys are hefty AF! Theyre locked in place by pins and are pretty much immovable, and having the rollers makes adjusting bar placement much smoother (a problem Ive experienced with most J-Hooks in general).
The design is impeccable and so easy on the eyes. Adding these to my Phoenix Power Rack amplifies the aesthetic tenfold. Im always happy with my purchases from the Bridge Built team because I can always expect QUALITY!
I am 100% so happy/satisfied with my BFJ hooks. They arrived packaged extremely well and professionally and you can tell they take pride in their product.
I believe these are the best roller hooks available in the market right now. As far as I know, no other roller hook out there combines UMHW sandwich cup feature with a roller. This means the bar will never get accidentally dinged when racking against the cup or vice versa. I also love that they chose a flat roller design as opposed to a return roller feature since it allows me to both squat and unrack ‘against/towards the back of the cup, and also bench and unrack ‘away/outwards without having to deal with a return roller which would basically negatively impact both scenarios. Another minor detail that I actually really like is that the front lip is secure yet not excessive, which means doing self un-racks on bench press is a breeze as opposed to other J-cups where you have to clear a much larger front lip profile.
I was very pleasantly surprised with the aesthetics. I actually think the product looks a lot better in-person vs their pictures. The coated steel is flawless looking and you can tell no shortcuts were taken in producing these.
Its certainly a luxury but in my opinion actually worth it. If I have the budget again, I will get a second pair so that I can have one set at my bench position permanently as well as one on my squat position.
